This is a MUST have policy for all employers as stipulated by the Work Injury Benefit Act of 2007. It provides employers indemnity against liability under the Work Injury Benefits Act in respect of accidental death, bodily injury or illness/disease to employees as declared arising out of and in the course of employment. The scope of coverage for WIBA includes; Accidental Death, Permanent Total Disablement (PTD), Temporary Total Disablement (TTD), Accidental Medical Expenses, Funeral Expenses.
