We were incorporated in 1984 as a retail and re-insurance broker and a subsidiary of a European insurance group, with headquarters in London. Over the years, our company has changed names due to overseas mergers with other brokers.
In 1998, we merged with JH Marsh & McLennan to form the world’s leading Insurance Broker and Consultancy. In Kenya, we retained the name Sedgwick Kenya Insurance Brokers Ltd.

Over time, we have developed strong capabilities and have handled and managed some of the largest and most complex risks in the country.
We are registered as an Insurance Broker and Consultancy by the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA), a Pension Scheme Administrator with the Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA), and a Medical Insurance Provider (MIP).
